Changing permalink and Generating Google Sitemaps

WordPressのデフォルトのPermalinkは/diary/?p=?? みたいに良いURIじゃないと友達に言われたので、WordPressの機能を使って変えてみました。

管理画面から、Options->Permalinks で変更して、apacheのconfに

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /diary/index.php [L]

を追加するだけで後はWordPress内でやってくれる。

さらに違う友達にGoogle Sitemapsがちょーいいという話を聞いたので、ついでにWordPressのプラグインのGoogle Sitemaps Generator for WordPressをいれてみた。インストールは下のようにやるだけ。

Installation:
Simply download the Zip-Archive and extract all files into your wp-content/plugins/ directory. Then go into your WordPress administration page, click on Plugins and activate it. After that you will have a new menu point called “Sitemap” under the “Options” menu. You can alter the default change frequencies, filename and other options there. Click once on “Rebuild Sitemap” to create your sitemap the first time.

WordPressかなり便利。
